Terms of use

The service

Live Flag Counter is a free service that shows visitor flags and statistics for your website, blog, forum profile or code repository. We may improve, change or limit features over time, and we'll try to keep existing embed codes working.

Fair use

• Don't use the service to inflate numbers artificially, or to send automated or abusive traffic.
• Don't place counters on pages that are illegal, or that deceive or harm people.
• Don't try to access counters, statistics or accounts that aren't yours.
• Very high traffic is welcome, but we may rate-limit requests that threaten the stability of the service.

Your counters and keys

You are responsible for keeping your edit key and account password safe. Because we only store scrambled keys, we can't recover a lost edit key — link your counters to a free account to avoid that. We may disable counters that break these terms.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is”. Visitor numbers are estimates: ad blockers, privacy tools, shared networks and image caching by some platforms all affect what can be counted. We are not liable for indirect losses arising from the use of the service.

Privacy

How we handle data is explained in the privacy policy.
